Teams & Tryout Dates – Field location is Addison Elementary School

It is encouraged, but not mandatory, for the 2nd thru 6th grade players to attend both tryouts.   If families are unable to make the scheduled dates, contact Tom Tennies 262-224-3321 or Nate Bremseth 612-756-2379. You must be in the grade for which you are trying out for.  No exceptions. While players from outside of Slinger School District may tryout, we will fill teams with players that reside within the district, or attend Slinger Schools first. If we are not able to fill a team with players as noted above, we will consider other players.

Please bring a completed registration form and non-refundable $10 tryout fee to tryouts.

There will be a minimum of one team per grade level, however based on tryout numbers, a second team is a possibility.  A minimum of 30 kids per grade are required to try out for two teams to be offered.

*2024 Estimated Fees are $450 + cost of uniform + other additional expenses

**Additional estimated $150 volunteer fee is required (for all new players, or existing families that did not meet their hours in 2023)

**Your fees will cover various program costs associated with playing in the Wisconsin State Youth Baseball League. This fee helps to cover costs associated with league fees, umpire fees, equipment, fields, indoor practice facility space, and insurance. 

**Estimated 2024 Volunteer fee is $150 per player.  Existing families – if you met the 2023 hours your current volunteer fee will carry over to 2024. The fee is retained and returned at the end of club participation if a minimum of six hours of volunteer activities per year is completed by the family. You pay the fee one time if you complete the required hours each year. Failure to complete hours in a year results in forfeiture of the fee and requires an additional $150 (per player if more than one) upon registering for another year of play . Each new player to Slinger on Base will be required to pay this fee.
